Sabrina Kadlecek is the coordinator of the Austrian curriculum for middle and high school classes at the LFV for the Vienna Bildungsdirektion (Education Authority), as part of the Franco-Austrian cultural agreements.

She leads a team of 21 teachers of German as a mother tongue, Austrian history and geography, and religion, and ensures continuity in the preparation of Matura exams with the LFV’s exam department. A qualified teacher of French and German with a degree from an Austrian higher education university, Sabrina Kadlecek also taught in Strasbourg for several years. She now carries on her work teaching German as a mother tongue here with us.

Sabrina Kadlecek believes that her role, and more broadly that of her team, is of course to impart knowledge and skills, but also to help develop enthusiasm, creativity, empathy and solidarity among students. These are values that are particularly important to her in her daily work.

YANN KIEFFER — LFV DEPUTY HEAD

Arriving at the start of the school year in September 2025, Yann Kieffer has been appointed deputy
Head alongside Sophie Maraux, Head of the Lycée Français de Vienne. He is specifically responsible for the middle school and high school. Teaching is his primary profession, and multiculturalism has been a recurring thread throughout his career. He has traveled to the ends of the earth as a teacher trainer within the AEFE network. Returning to France after several years in executive positions, he chose the elegant city of Vienna, with its culture, history, and Lycée Français, as the setting for a new chapter in his professional life.

Contributing to the everyday life of the Lycée Français de Vienne, at the heart of its organization and for the benefit of educational excellence, is a source of great pride for Yann Kieffer, whose primary focus is the well-being, fulfillment, and success of all students.
