KATIA BOULARD — ÉBÉP REFERENT ( PUPILS WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS )

As per­ma­nent teacher in the French Nation­al Edu­ca­tion sys­tem,Katia has taught CP, CE1 and CM1 class­es for over 14 years. Since 2019 at the Ele­men­tary School and since 2021 for the whole school, Katia is an ÉBÉP ref­er­ent. Its mis­sion is to ensure that all pupils receive the best pos­si­ble edu­ca­tion, what­ev­er their difficulties.

Katia is dri­ven by the con­vic­tion that inclu­sion ben­e­fits all our pupils on a dai­ly basis. See­ing the adults take care of the most frag­ile pupils reas­sures the oth­ers and makes them more empathetic. 

STÉPHANE PIERRE — EXECUTIVE HEAD OF KITCHEN AND PRODUCTON AT THE LFV SCHOOL RESTAURANT

Trained in Pau and Paris at the very high­est lev­el of French gas­tron­o­my, Stéphane has prac­tised his art for inter­na­tion­al­ly renowned Parisian restau­rants. He joined the LFV team in 2005 to work with chil­dren, fol­low­ing a sta­tion in the Vien­nese gas­tro­nom­ic land­scape and at the Aus­tri­an Par­lia­ment as Head of Cater­ing. He runs his kitchen like an orches­tra direc­tor, with exact­ing stan­dards and metic­u­lous atten­tion to detail, and a con­stant con­cern for impec­ca­ble qual­i­ty, serv­ing some 2,000 dish­es every day.

Its mot­to: “We are also France’s ambas­sadors abroad”. 

JEAN-LUC BOURDIN — GAULT ET MILLAU AWARD-WINNING CHEF… AND CHEF OF THE LFV SCHOOL RESTAURANT

Trained in Paris at the very high­est lev­el of French gas­tron­o­my, Jean-Luc became the youngest chef in Aus­tria at the age of 23. He is a pas­sion­ate run­ner (19 marathons in Vien­na, trail and ultra-trail run­ning in moun­tain areas…). Jean-Luc enjoys a chal­lenge and his adven­ture with the Lycée Français de Vienne began in 1999. As a result, he went from prepar­ing 45 to 2,000 meals a day! He man­ages a team of 35 peo­ple and shares his pas­sion with our pupils he meets every lunchtime in the school refectory.

His mot­to: “Eat­ing well and being active are good for your health and your spirits!

CAROLINE SEGAL — TEACHER OF FRENCH HUMANITIES AND FRENCH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE (FFE)

Car­o­lines is a qual­i­fied teacher in the French Nation­al Edu­ca­tion sys­tem and has been teach­ing at the Lycée Français de Vienne since 2009. She teach­es French at sec­ondary school lev­el. It also pro­vides sup­port for non-French-speak­ing pupils, teach­ing them French as a for­eign lan­guage. She has a long and rich expe­ri­ence of many years in Ger­many and France, work­ing with very dif­fer­ent class­es, chil­dren, teenagers and young adults, from kinder­garten to university.

Her pupils’ suc­cess in a play­ful and pleas­ant learn­ing envi­ron­ment is par­tic­u­lar­ly impor­tant to her.
