EDUCATIONAL STRUCTURE
Four schools in one
The Lycée Français de Vienne, as an institution, consists of 4 “schools”:
- The École Maternelle, the Kindergarten for pupils aged 3–6 years
- The École Élémentaire, the Elementary School, for pupils aged 6–10 years
- The Collège, the Middle School for pupils aged 10–15 years
- The Lycée, the High School for pupils aged 15–18 years
The educational structure of the Lycée Français de Vienne reflects a comprehensive schooling in the French National Education system.

Teaching continuity
Thus, a child can start, continue and finish his or her education at the Lycée Français de Vienne, or in any other school in France corresponding to his or her level, or in one of the 543 schools of the Agence pour l’Enseignement Français à l’Étranger located in 138 countries.
Early plurilingualism
The languages learnt by all pupils are French and German from kindergarten with English from CM1.
French and Austrian school curricula
The Lycée Français de Vienne applies the curricula of the French Ministry of Education for its classes in French and the curricula of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research for its classes in native German.
