DESCRIPTION

the Col­lège, Mid­dle School,as the first cycle of sec­ondary edu­ca­tion after pri­ma­ry school (Élé­men­taire), includes the fol­low­ing classes:

• Six­ième — 6ème / 1st year
• Cinquième — 5ème / 2nd year
• Qua­trième — 4ème / 3rd year
• Troisième — 3ème / 4th year

After 4 years of mid­dle school, we pre­pare our pupils for the gen­er­al French edu­ca­tion pro­gramme in high school.

THE DNB: A FIRST DIPLOMA

At the end of 3ème, the Diplôme Nation­al du Brevet is award­ed at the end of the Col­lège, mid­dle school, cur­ricu­lum. It allows pupils to take real exams for the first time.

FRENCH AND AUSTRIAN CURRICULA

The Lycée Français de Vienne applies the cur­ric­u­la of the French Min­istry of Edu­ca­tion for the French cours­es and the cur­ric­u­la of the Aus­tri­an Fed­er­al Min­istry of Edu­ca­tion, Sci­ence and Research for the Aus­tri­an cours­es in the Ger­man language.
