The LFV's cross race on May 7th and May 8th
The LFV cross-country race will take place on Thursday 7 May and Friday 8 May 2026. This race has several objectives, both sporting and charitable.
For primary school pupils (Years 1–6):
- to run for a ‘long time’, developing a sense of perseverance.
- to learn to pace themselves, knowing how to regulate their speed and adapt it to the duration of the race.
- to run for as long as possible without walking.
For secondary school pupils (Years 6–9):
- to run for enjoyment and push themselves to the limit, but also to try to win.
It is also a charity run, the aim of which is to raise funds for the NGO ‘Doctors Without Borders’, which works worldwide alongside the most disadvantaged.
