THE LFV AT THE VIENNA NIGHT RUN 2026 – FLY THE LFV FLAG HIGH!

On 17 September 2026, 58 pupils from the Lycée Français de Vienne will take part in the 20th edition of the Erste Vienna Night Run, one of Austria’s largest charity runs. This 5 km night run takes place on Vienna’s famous Ring, starting at the Burgring, near the Natural History Museum, and finishing on the Opernring, not far from the Goethe monument.

Our sports association brings together for the occasion pupils, parents, staff and perhaps even members of the LFV management team…

A total of 58 pupils from 5ème to Terminale have signed up this year!

When the starting gun goes off at dusk, our young athletes will set off in four waves, starting at 8 pm. Our pupils will thus have the opportunity to run alongside thousands of participants — last year’s event attracted over 17,000 runners — in an electric atmosphere, punctuated by several live concerts set up along the route.
