It is with immense pride that the Lycée français de Vienne announces Ottavia’s qualification for the global video final of the Petits Champions de la lecture competition.

Selected by a jury comprising inspectors from the AEFE and booksellers from the International Association of Francophone Booksellers, Ottavia moved and impressed the jury with the quality of her reading. Beyond her command of the language, it was her ability to bring the text to life, convey emotions and share her love of reading that particularly impressed the jury.

She will therefore represent the Lycée français de Vienne amongst the 16 young finalists from around the world — a wonderful recognition of her talent and dedication.

The next stage will take place on 13 May, when the videos will be assessed by the World Final jury. And, if the adventure continues, Ottavia could be invited to Paris on 24 June for the grand final on stage at the Théâtre de la Porte Saint-Martin.

The entire community of the Lycée français de Vienne extends its warmest congratulations to Ottavia on this magnificent journey and wishes her every success as she continues this exceptional adventure.
