Our school champion of the laser run

Well done to our champions!

On June 4th, as part of the Sport Austria Finals, 40 of our students from CE2 to Terminale, participated in the Austrian Laser Run Championships held in the heart of Vienna, on Rathausplatz.

Our young athletes proudly represented the lycée with an outstanding performance: 20 individual medals, including 5 Austrian champion titles, 8 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals. The success continued in the mixed relays, with 4 victories out of 8 races.

Beyond the athletic achievements, the students stood out for their enthusiasm, commitment, and remarkable team spirit. Highly visible and particularly noticed on Rathausplatz, they helped showcase the LFV throughout this major Austrian sports event.

This remarkable day also provided exceptional visibility for our school, as the competitions were broadcast live on ORF Sport+ and via streaming.

Congratulations to all participants and their teachers for this magnificent achievement, which reflects the dynamism of modern pentathlon practice at the LFV for the past three years. A beautiful illustration of the values of self-improvement, perseverance, and solidarity upheld by our school!
