Kinderlauf / Frauenlauf 2026: LFV Students Rise to the Challenge!

On 4 June 2026, during the Kinderlauf/Frauenlauf in Vienna, more than 3,000 youths took part in this major community sporting event. Among them, 27 pupils from the primary school of the Lycée Français de Vienne proudly represented our school.

In a festive and friendly atmosphere, the young runners joined a collective warm-up before setting off along the famous Prater Hauptallee, cheered on by enthusiastic families and spectators.

For many children, this race was their first competitive running experience, which they approached with great energy and enjoyment. All participants crossed the finish line with determination and were rewarded with a medal and a goodie bag, while proud parents and grandparents welcomed them at the finish.

Our students achieved some outstanding results this year:

· Mina won 1st place in the U10 category;

· Eulalie also delivered an excellent performance, finishing 1st in the U19 category.

The Lycée Français de Vienne warmly congratulates all participants for their commitment, sportsmanship and excellent representation of LFV at this emblematic sporting event in Vienna.
