Preparation for the MedAT – the Austrian medical school entrance exam – at LFV

A former student of the LFV (who took his Baccalauréat and Matura in 2020), Arian Akhondi owes a great deal to the LFV and is now giving back by helping future generations succeed in the Austrian medical school entrance exam – the MedAT.

Upon obtaining his Baccalaureate, he began his medical studies in 2020, achieving an exceptional 100% score in the KFF. In 2023, he sat the MedAT again and came second in Vienna for dentistry (with a score of 91%). He has thus taken the MedAT twice – and passed it twice.

Today, through the MEDithappen brand, Arian supports several thousand candidates each year with specialised preparation books and materials. His goal is clear: to give as many students as possible the means to succeed in the MedAT.

A concrete commitment at the school:
Thanks to the support of the LFV, free on-site MedAT mock exams will be offered in 2026: these will provide simulations under real-life conditions in a large hall at the school.
Participation is free for students.
Three mock exam dates will be offered ahead of the 2026 MedAT

Arian’s ambition is to share his expertise and demonstrate that the MedAT is achievable with the right method, structured preparation and targeted practice.
