Wednesday, September 2: Back to School at the Lycée Français de Vienne!

This Wednesday, September 2 marks the much-anticipated return of students to the Lycée Français de Vienne, a back-to-school moment defined by diversity and excellence. With 82 nationalities represented and no fewer than 50 languages spoken within its halls, our school offers every student an exceptional cultural immersion — a true reflection of the world in all its richness.

This plurality lies at the heart of our educational project, upheld by strong values: respect for others, the sharing of knowledge and cultures, a genuine openness to the world, and an unwavering commitment to academic excellence.

To mark this special day, the school had the honor of welcoming His Excellency the French Ambassador to Austria, accompanied by the Cultural Counselor. Alongside the Head of School, Mrs. Sophie Maraux, and the Deputy Head, Mr. Yann Kieffer, they came to welcome students from elementary, middle, and high school for this new academic year.

A back-to-school day that once again embodies the spirit of a school where cultures meet, and where, day after day, an educational community is built around shared, meaningful values.
